Vintage Tiger Moth Joyflights is Melbourne’s premier Joyflight and Adventure flight company specialising in making flying fun. We have a range of aircraft types with our fleet of beautifully restored Tiger Moths, a Yak52 and a CT4 RAAF Airtrainer. We are conveniently situated 25 minutes by car from Melbourne city at the Historic RAAF Base Point Cook, home of the RAAF Museum and the longest continuously operating airfield in the world.
Our flights range from leisurely cruising around the coastline and over the city 1930s style with the wind in your hair in the Tiger Moths to absolute gut wrenching, adrenalin pumping, high G extreme aerobatics in the mighty Yak 52 Russian military aircraft. The CT4 fits somewhere in between and is ideal for instructional flights as well. Formation flights and aerial dogfighting are offered WW1 style in our biplanes or East versus West with the Yak52 and CT4.
The only thing more important to us than making your flight the best possible flying experience you can have is the safety of the flight. We have an impeccable safety record with over 8000 flights under our belt. What distinguishes us from other Warbird Adventure Flight operators is that we also hold an Air Operator Certificate and undergo regular audits by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority on our Flight Operations and Maintenance.
Whether it’s enjoying the stunning panoramic views of Melbourne and its sophisticated skyline or hanging by your harness as you experience the ultimate 3D roller coaster ride, we can provide the total joyflight experience to suit your individual taste and budget.
Impeccable safety record with over 8000 flights under our belt and we hold a current Air Operator's Certificate (AOC)
